Emily Hedges
Occupational Therapist
Emily is a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years NHS experience working within both acute and rehabilitation care. She continues to work within an Advanced Practitioner NHS role alongside undertaking some private work. Her main areas of expertise lie within the musculoskeletal setting, complex rehabilitation, return to work and maintenance therapy.
Emily has developed a variety of skills over her career which she incorporates into her assessment and treatment of clients, allowing people to ‘live their best life’. The main aim of treatment is centred around helping people gain their maximum independence through various means which may include physical treatment, adaptation of daily tasks or hobbies, and cognitive rehabilitation.
Emily is able to help treat a wide range of health and life issues and is an adept problem solver, helping you continue to enjoy and enable your daily routine should an illness, health event, accident or long-term condition mean that your abilities have changed. She is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care within the clinic setting or your own home, dependent upon your specific needs.

Input from Occupational Therapy may only require a one-off assessment and treatment appointment to set you back on track or could involve a series of treatment sessions to equip you with the tools to manage your own care. Alternatively, you may require ongoing care and treatment. Care is always very individualised and based upon each person’s issues and needs. Home visits and treatment within the home or a care facility are also possible.
Please do reach out if you think you require input and would benefit from our services. If you are unsure, we are more than happy to advise as to whether or not we will be able to help you.
