BEN SAUNDERS

Ben Saunders

BSc(Physio) MCSP

Physiotherapist

We were delighted to have Ben join our team in July 2022. Ben grew up in Southwell, attended the Minster School and qualified with a 1st class degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford in 2007.

Not only is Ben a top Physiotherapist but he was also a semi-professional footballer until 2016. This combination of talent naturally culminated in him becoming Lead Physiotherapist at Burton Albion Football Club Academy.  Promotion to Department Head soon followed, being tasked with management and delivery of the medical and sports science intervention throughout the foundation, youth, and professional development phases.

Ben has a special interest in all things sport related. As a football, rugby and cricket enthusiast, a hobby cyclist and golfer and most recently Crossfit athlete and certified Crossfit coach at Fosse Way Crossfit in Newark you will most likely find Ben pursuing or watching sports outside of the clinic.
